This is a work of creative fiction that imagines an alternate universe in which a fragment of the enigmatic lost play The Plantation of Virginia has miraculously survived to the present.

He is the author of Middleton and Rowley: Forms of Collaboration in the Jacobean Playhouse (2012), and of numerous articles on the works of William Rowley. He has also written on Terrence Malick’s The New World for Screening the Past.
