Hannah-Louise Clark is a Departmental and College Lecturer in European and World History at the University of Oxford. Her research studies the connections between medicine, colonialism, decolonization, and the state in North Africa. She is currently writing the first monograph-length study of medical auxiliaries in global empire, focusing on the case study of Algeria.
