Nimisha Barton is the Associate Director of the Freshman Scholars Institute and Programs for Access and Inclusion at Princeton University. Her primary research concerns the history of immigration in late nineteenth and twentieth century France, with particular interest in gender and sexuality. She received her PhD from Princeton University in 2014 and is currently revising her book manuscript entitled Reproductive Citizens: Gender, Immigration and the State in France (1900–1945).
