Stephen Milder is an Assistant Professor of European Politics and Society at the University of Groningen and a Research Fellow at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society in Munich. With funding from the German Research Foundation (Project No. 423371999), he is currently writing a history of the emergence of climate politics in Germany during the 1980s and 1990s. He recently published Greening Democracy: The Anti-Nuclear Movement and Political Environmentalism in West Germany and Beyond, 1968–1983 (2017).
