John Sonnett is associate professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Mississippi. He received his MA and PhD in sociology from the University of Arizona. His research on media framing of environmental problems has appeared in Global Environmental Change, Organization and Environment, and Public Understanding of Science. He is currently analyzing the global field of climate change mitigation discourse in collaboration with the COMPON Project (Comparing Climate Change Policy Networks).
