Jaime Moreno Tejada has a BA in history and anthropology (Complutense University of Madrid) and a PhD in historical geography (King’s College London). Jaime studies the spatiotemporal limits of modernity, with a focus on tropical frontiers from ca. 1850. Jaime is coeditor, with Bradley Tatar, of Transnational Frontiers of Asia and Latin America from 1800 (Routledge, 2017). His latest publication is a research article called “The Savage Life of Ruins: Resistant Rhythms in a Bangkokian Contact Zone.” Jaime is currently working on a transnational history of the Tropics.
