Theodoros Rakopoulos is a Research Fellow in the ERC Egalitarianism Project within the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of Bergen. He has conducted long-term fieldwork in rural Sicily and urban Greece. His research interests include cooperatives, solidarity, food, the Mafia, labor, land management, and ‘conspiracy theory’. He has published in anthropological and regional journals. His monograph due for publication in early 2017 is titled From Clans to Co-ops: Confiscated Mafia Land in Sicily.
