Morten Nielsen is a trained actor from the National Theatre School of Denmark. He has over twenty years of experience in small and large theaters both in Denmark and abroad—from experimental groups where he also cowrites and codirects, to the Royal Theatre. In addition, he teaches at workshops and gives lectures. He was cocreator of the show HOSTAGE 2007, which takes place in a bus driving in traffic with the audience as passengers. HOSTAGE won a Reumert in 2008, and Nielsen’s experience in this performance is the main inspiration for Through Diff erent Eyes. For Global Stories, he also works as a researcher and artistic collaborator on several projects (www.medandreoejne.com).
