As a contributor to a Open Access journal, you are responsible for completing, signing, and returning one of the signed license agreements below to copyright@berghahnjournals.com.

All of our Open Access journals publish articles under a Creative Commons license. This means that the author retains copyright and the public is allowed to reuse the content. In all cases, you, the Author grant Berghahn, the Publisher, a license to publish the article and to identify as the original publisher.

Reviewers: Owing to the nature of reviews, we ask all reviewers of books, poems, films, etc. to download, complete, and return a CC BY agreement.

CC BY - Creative Commons Attribution License

This allows users to copy, distribute and transmit an article, and to adapt the article as long as the author is attributed. The CC BY license permits commercial and non-commercial reuse.

CC BY-ND - Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs

This allows users to reuse the work for any purpose, including commercially; however, it cannot be adapted or modified without permission. Credit must be provided to the author.

CC BY-NC-ND - Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-noDerivs License

This allows users to copy, distribute and transmit an article as long as the author is attributed, the article is not used for commercial purposes and the work is not modified or adapted in any way. Prior permission is otherwise required.
